What we do
Cartiva Beejwala covers the crops that are governed by the calendar. Field crops first — wheat, paddy, maize, bajra, jowar and ragi as seed-quality lots, with the pulses and oilseeds that go into the rotation alongside them. Then the herb, spice and medicinal seed: tulsi and basil, cumin, fennel and ajwain, ashwagandha, isabgol, lemongrass and stevia.
What ties them together is timing. A rabi crop sown in the kharif window does not simply yield less, it fails. So every listing here carries its sowing window drawn out month by month, along with the germination period, spacing, sowing depth and the irrigation stages that actually decide the yield.

Our catalogue is 44 products across 6 categories:
- Culinary Herbs — Basil, coriander, methi, dill and celery for the kitchen bed and the pot on the sill. (9 products)
- Spice Seeds — Cumin, fennel, ajwain, nigella and coriander grown as a seed spice crop. (6 products)
- Medicinal & Aromatic — Ashwagandha, tulsi, lemongrass, isabgol and stevia for the AYUSH and essential-oil trade. (5 products)
- Cereals & Millets — Wheat, paddy, maize, bajra, jowar and ragi — certified seed-quality field crop lots. (9 products)
- Pulses — Chana, arhar, moong, urad and masoor for the rabi and kharif pulse rotation. (7 products)
- Oilseeds & Fodder — Mustard, groundnut, soybean, sesame, sunflower and berseem for oil and for the herd. (8 products)
Everything listed is supplied as seed for sowing and cultivation. Nothing on this website is sold as food, feed or a food ingredient, and nothing is processed for consumption.
Who we serve
Field-crop farmers planning a kharif or rabi rotation, spice and medicinal growers supplying the AYUSH and oil trade, dairy farmers raising fodder, and kitchen gardeners growing their own herbs.
How we handle tax
Seed for sowing falls under HSN 1209 and is nil-rated or exempt from GST where applicable. We do not apply that treatment simply because a product is called a seed. Each product carries its own reviewed tax classification, and a product whose classification has not been approved does not appear for sale on this website at all. The treatment recorded at the moment of sale is the treatment printed on your invoice, so a later catalogue correction never rewrites a document already issued.
How we operate
- Orders are dispatched within 1-2 working days, with courier tracking on every consignment.
- Checkout itemises product value, GST and shipping before payment. The total shown is the total charged.
- Every paid order generates a numbered invoice automatically, available from your order page.
- Every payment is reconciled against exactly one order using the gateway transaction reference.
